This Week: Five Events You Need to Know (September 10)

Hurricane Irma, weapons for World War III, Germany’s unseen crisis, and more

Here are five of the most important news stories this week, as well as relevant links to the full articles and videos here on theTrumpet.com.

Hurricane Irma: Is God Healing America?

In 2 Chronicles 7:14, God promises to heal our land. One of the top leaders in the United States government acknowledged and quoted that promise. But he omitted the most critical part of that verse--the part that would result in definite healing, if acknowledged and acted upon.

Will the World's Lost Nuclear Weapons Trigger World War III?

The United States has lost at least 32 nuclear weapons between 1950 and 1980. Recent losses by the world's most advanced military are yet to be declassified. The Soviet Union has suffered similar losses. In fact, in October 1986 alone, the ussr lost an estimated 34 nuclear weapons.

From 1993 to 2015, the International Atomic Energy Agency reported 2,880 confirmed incidents of nuclear trafficking, theft, smuggling, loss and other unauthorized activities.

Will these nuclear weapons be used to trigger World War iii? Will the nations prophesied to start the next (and last) world war detonate stolen or smuggled nuclear bombs? If they don't, it will not be because those weapons are not out there somewhere.

Will Nuclear North Korea Force South Korea to Oust the U.S.?

On September 3, North Korea carried out its sixth and most powerful nuclear test triggering a 6.3-magnitude earthquake. Geopolitical Futures wrote that it may not be long before Pyongyang uses this nuclear power to force South Korea to end its alliance with America and to oust U.S. forces from the Korean Peninsula.

The ramifications of such an ouster, according to Geopolitical Futures, would go far beyond the Korean Peninsula. Such an ouster would align with Bible prophecies that indicate a future, America-free, militant Asia dominated by Russia and China.

Who Is Organizing the Protests Against President Trump?

The masked Antifa activists who have made headlines for their violent street protests are organized by Refuse Fascism--a group cofounded by Dr. Cornel West, a prominent member of the Democratic Socialists of America, and Carl Dix, a founding member of the Revolutionary Communist Party.

Refuse Fascism is primarily sponsored by the Alliance for Global Justice, a self-described "people's think tank" that funds a wide variety of far-left groups. The Alliance for Global Justice is in turn funded by the Arca Foundation, the Ben and Jerry's Foundation, the Brightwater Fund, the Foundation for Deep Ecology, the Hill Snowdon Foundation, the Tides Foundation and the Open Society Foundations.

These rioters are part of a deliberate strategy to discredit America's leaders both domestically and internationally. Ultimately, they are being stirred up not by a person or group of people but by an evil spirit force working to destroy the United States.

Angela Merkel, KT zu Guttenberg and Germany's Unseen Crisis

On the surface, Germany appears stable and content, but it is facing a leadership crisis.

Stephan Grünewald, a psychologist who has spent much of his career studying the German people, told Der Spiegel that "in-depth interviews" revealed that the refugee crisis "is still a sore spot that hasn't been treated by politicians. .... Voters are disoriented, full of uncertainties. They describe Germany either as an ailing, rundown country or as a secure island of affluence in a sea of risk. It's all very fragile and leads to emotional outbursts. I have never before seen so much anger and hatred among test subjects."

Germans want a leader capable of helping them resolve their inner moral crisis. That strongman is not Angela Merkel. But it might be Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg.
